The Sunday Times Ireland looks at the Pros and Cons of Owning Period Property

The Sunday Times, Ireland, explored the pros and cons of owning period property against new homes, including the higher cost of owning and maintaining historic houses. Despite the costs involved Guy Everington of Irish Heritage Insurance Services said he would always choose a period house over a modern building -
'Period Houses have a unique beauty and style. They may be a bit draughty if they have sash windows, but generally they are weather proof and sound proof and have stood the test of time.'
